So I know I am late posting these things, but I am just getting started with my blog. As I reflect on the year, I will add some of my favorite things that I took pictures of. If you see something you like, save it for next year. ;-)
First, here are a few examples of my students' branches of government projects. Our SC social studies indicator addresses the three branches at the local, state, and national levels. The students were to make a poster showing what they know. They got pretty creative!

Also, for Mother's Day, the students created a word cloud using tagxedo. They brainstormed a list of words individually and then created their word cloud, typing mom or mother multiple times so that it would show bigger. They picked their mother's favorite color scheme and a shape they thought would be perfect. They also made some cute cards to go along with the word cloud using their thumbprints. We laminated our word clouds and cut two pieces of magnet tape to go on the back. Our mothers place could place their word cloud on the fridge! How exciting! ;-)
