Today was the first day of fractions, and everyone is doing great! We each made fraction bars with different amounts of blue, red, green, and yellow inch squares. Then, we wrote a fraction to describe each color. Some students even recognized that there are two fractions to describe one amount. For example, 2/6 can be the same thing as 1/3!
